Printing the maps

You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have the software click here and you will be directed to the Adobe Acrobat Reader setup file. The readme.txt file in the Adobe directory on this CD has full installation instructions.

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader you may follow these directions to print the map:

1. Click the Print this map text under the map you are interested in printing.

2. The .pdf file associated with the map will open in Adobe Acrobat.

3. From the File pull-down menu, choose Print. The Print dialogue box will appear.

4. Select the printer you will be printing to. If you will not be printing to a full size plotter be sure to place a check mark in the box for "Shrink oversized pages to paper size" within the Copies and Adjustments section. This will allow you to print the map at any paper size you choose.

5. If you are printing to a full size plotter, select your plotter then click the Properties button. From the Paper Size dropdown list select a page size that will accomodate the full size map. The map measurement can be obtained by looking in the lower left margin of the Adobe Acrobat screen.

6. Click OK to close the properties window. Click OK to print the map.
